We are proud to announce that our President and CEO, Mike Donoghue, has been named one of the region’s Top Power Players in banking and finance for 2022! The Power 30 is awarded annually and highlights the impact made by regional executives in banking and finance, education, law, manufacturing, and real estate and construction.
Mike is honored to receive this recognition for the second year in a row having received this distinction previously in 2021. As the head of Premium Mortgage Corporation, he’s always ready to recognize how integral the contributions made by the team working with him is to Premium Mortgage Corporations continued success:
“It is easy to accumulate accolades in a robust market. As we enter a rising interest rate market; financial services executives will be forced to make tough choices. Having survived the 2006-2008 financial crisis I remember all the opportunities that were presented by the failures of others. For 2023 we are in bunker mentality as members of our peer group are exiting the space completely in sync with rising rates. Our unique focus on purchase money mortgages insulates us from the overall market but the contagion is unavoidable as we return to a more normal market. My goal is to put my company and my employees in position to be successful beyond market cycles. If I do my job I hope to see you here again next year. As John F. Kennedy said: ‘Victory has 1000 fathers, defeat is an orphan’. Premium Mortgage is my baby."
This has been an amazing year for Mike and the Premium Mortgage Corporation team.
